I've always prided myself on have my own sound and style. Very often I've been faced with having to "assign" a song to a particular genre. A great deal of the time that genre doesn't exist. Music is evolving as we speak. Crossover is more than just a buzzword - It drives the future of music writing into new frontiers, breaking "norms" and barriers as it goes.
While I know artists can add tags to their entries, I don't know if that is sufficient in terms of web search here on SC. I'd like to have the ability to actually name the genre. Perhaps as an add-on to the current drop-down? Like, "Other - Please List". Thoughts?
